Design and Fund International Development Projects: A newly updated CDSi e Learning course.

Dear ReliefWeb Colleagues,

CSDi has been offering this course for four years in an instructor led format. We have recently updated it, added a dozen new instructive videos, and are now offering it in a reduced-cost, 100% Online e Learning platform. Design and Fund International Development Projects.

Although many NGOs are working to reach the UN’s Millennium Development Goals by 2015, we still have over 1 billion people suffering from disaster, hunger, a lack of safe drinking water, and extreme poverty. An important underlying cause of these challenges is that development effectiveness can be limited by in-country field staff’s poor access to mission-critical information and training. CSDi is delivering solutions by providing sound information, tools and training for development staff worldwide.

Our online courses are for staff from international relief and development organizations, grassroots organizations, nonprofit organizations—and individuals interested in development. They present an online field experience and lead participants in the process of developing empowered, sustainable communities. Online course participants learn to develop real projects in real communities.

Relief and development practitioners from 151 countries and 500 different organizations have developed course projects that are impacting over 360,000 people. You can learn about their projects here: 100 Projects: The Best of 3 Years of Partner Field Projects.
